a) $A=(-\infty;m]$, $B=(5;+\infty)$.
Nếu $m<5$ thì $A\cap B=\emptyset$, $A\cup B=(-\infty;m]\cup(5;+\infty)$.
Nếu $m=5$ thì $A\cap B=\emptyset$, $A\cup B=\mathbb{R}$.
Nếu $m>5$ thì $A\cap B=(5;m]$, $A\cup B=\mathbb{R}$.
b) $A=(-1;3]$, $B=(m;+\infty)$.
Nếu $m\leq-1$ thì $A\cap B=(-1;3]$, $A\cup B=(m;+\infty)$.
Nếu $-1<m<3$ thì $A\cap B=(m;3]$, $A\cup B=(-1;+\infty)$.
Nếu $m=3$ thì $A\cap B=\emptyset$, $A\cup B=(-1;+\infty)$.
Nếu $m>3$ thì $A\cap B=\emptyset$, $A\cup B=(-1;3]\cup(m;+\infty)$.
